Side-Gig Prospects

I looked at fiverr.com today to see what kind of money people are making designing interactive-fiction for other people. The serious writers seem to be charging about $25/h for writing about 1000 words/h. There are a few people with professional portfolios who are charging about $50/h and some even $100/h–again for writing about 1000 words/h.

At this point I have no idea how steady this work is. At best it’s a side gig to make some extra money.

  1. It’s a tough market, this Fiverr. Sometimes I think word of mouth through your own circle gets better gigs than trying to find strangers on the internet. Anyway, wishing you the best no matter which path you take!
